Description

This auction is for a letter from Illinois serial killer Andre Crawford. Between 1993 and 1997, Crawford raped and murdered 11 women. He would attack his victims and rape them as they lay dying and after death. Crawford was arrested on 1/28/2000. He would be convicted on all 11 counts and sentenced to life imprisonment on 12/17/2009.

ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is one page and signed, "Andre." Written while awaiting trial, Crawford mentions his new cellmate, a young inmate whining about a robbery charge. Nothing gets more annoying to a guy getting ready to possibly face the death penalty than listening to some crybaby complain about small time. Folks get hurt in prison for doing that! The original mailing envelope is postmarked 7/10/2006. The letter and envelope come inside a protective magazine sleeve with an acid free board and have been stored flat.
