Postmarked 6 Aug 1990 - he would pass away less then two year after this from a heart attack
This letter is exquisite and has everything going for it! Very close to his death with an Arthur Leigh Allen that plays with words just like the zodiac did at the time!
Starting from the date as Satiddy for Saturday.
Notice how in the 3rd sentence the G of the word god is done like a O and a l right under making a 1/4 of a zodiac sign. Plus in the exorcist letter of January 29, 1974 you can see this symbol along (see in picture 6)…oh wow!! Did I discover something? These symbols can form the name when put together Leigh with that O- symbol left out.
Go to the zodiac killer.com and see how the webmaster has put these symbols together to make Leigh’s name appear. It’s very clever and precise .
Lots of this handwritting very close to the zodiac letters handwritting and that’s almost 27 years later!!!
We know that at the time of the zodiac killings many rodden animals were found in Arthur Allen’s trailer in cages. Some in his house as well. We know they both shared love for hunting animals and humans…:)
I’m this letter he talks about Hunting and about chipmunks….as if they were humans and a good company to have around. He write sentences like:
I don’t know what I would have done beside letting them go if I had caught any…talking about the chipmunks :) :) but so freakin nice to have him write this. Right?
If I build a trap holder and rigged tow-rope….Now we have the word rope among others to compare with older zodiac killer letters.
He even talks about the sexual appetite of his friend something Big (Al)….for Arthur Leigh never really had . Again just like the zodiac. We know zodiac didn’t rape his victim and was satisfied with the killings only.
Signed off again Yer Pal , Beeg Al again playing with words and a unique signature.
This letter comes with the original handwritten envelope at 32 Fresno St. In Vallejo , CA and his address among Harold are fully written in his hand.
The envelope is postmarked 6 Aug 1990 . He remained there until 1992 when he died of a heart attack leaving us with many unanswered questions.
A great piece overall and a very desirable piece for Zodiac or any true crime collectors.
In October 2002, the ABC television show "PRIMETIME THURSDAY" compared Arthur Leigh Allen's DNA, to what was believed to be the DNA of the Zodiac killer. There was no match.
In 2003, due to Allen's alleged habit of having others lick his stamps and envelopes (Allen claimed the taste of glue made him sick), the San Francisco Police Department obtained a voluntary DNA sample from Allen's former best friend, Don Cheney. Cheney's DNA was then compared to the DNA of the Zodiac, with a negative result.
In 2018, it was revealed that the "Zodiac DNA" that was used in the 2002 TV show, was actually a DNA sample found on the outside of a stamp the Zodiac had used. Thus, the sample could have been the DNA of any number of individuals, including investigators.
Arthur Leigh Allen is now back as a highly possible zodiac suspect and the investigation is still open.
