Three of spades means a change of plans, that usually results in emotional pain and broken heart. It is a bad card, no doubt about it. In a mild case this card could announce a cancelled date or misunderstandings between two lovers. In the worst case it is an omen for a break-up or divorce. Or a cannibal consumption?

Sagawa invited Rene Hartvelt to study and have lunch but instead murdered Hartevelt then mutilated, cannibalized, and performed necrophilia on her corpse over several days. Why the sudden change of plans? Maybe she rejected him or maybe not . A seance of study while she was reading a poem of Johannes Becher she was shot with a shotgun and it became a murder.
