The U.S. Supreme Court declined to review the case of Oklahoma death row inmate Wendell Arden Grissom, who was convicted of killing a woman during a home invasion in 2005 in Blaine County.  The Justices, without comment, upheld Grissom's conviction. Ron told police that 16yo Barbara Bruzda beat him twice at pool on Oct. 23, 1978, after he stopped at Joe's Place on the way home from fixing a furnace. He said he gave the girl and the unidentified man a ride from the bar. A black truck was waiting for them in nearby Clarksburg, Weiss told police. A blow to the head fractured the girl’s skull. Ronny is scheduled to die by lethal injection on Oct. 22, 2023.
