This auction is for a cassette tape insert signed by deceased counter culture figurer and artist GG Allin (8/29/1956 - 6/26/1993). Born Jesus Christ Allin, it was almost ordained that Allin would do great things. His controversial punk rock music, coupled with an extreme stage performances, earned him a reputation which was a head of its time. Arrested and imprisoned on multiple occasions, GGAllin also took to writing to inmates, most notably John Wayne Gacy, who's artwork would be featured on album covers. GG Allin died of a drug overdose on 6/28/1993. He was 36.
ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is one page and signed, "GG Allin." This letter is written on the reverse of a promotional sheet that Allin had hanging in his cell. Allin has signed the sheet handsomely with his prison number. You can see the discoloration where the tape was affixed to hang it on the wall.
