This auction is for a letter from Pennsylvania State University assistant coach and pedophile Gerald "Jerry" Sandusky. Sandusky spent most of his years at Penn State, winning awards, writing books, and even starting a program for underprivileged and at-risk youth called The Second Mile. It was through this program Sandusky met most of his victims. In 2011 he would be arrested and charge with 52 counts of child molestation and be subsequently convicted on 45 of those charges on 6/22/2012. He would be sentenced to 30 to 60 years on 10/9/2012. In 2019 Sandusky had his sentenced overturned in a failed bid for a new trial, but a federal judge resentenced him to the same 30 to 60 years.

ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is two pages on one sheet, dated 11/15/2015, and signed, "Jerry." The original mailing envelope is postmarked 11/17/2015.
