This beautiful sketch is signed Andrew with the copyright and has been dated 5/28/82 with Hinckley written beside the dates.
This sketch portrays the jury being presented the movie taxi as evidence for his obsession with the movie and actress Jodie Foster. Hinckley would ultimately attempt to assassinate the president of the Unites States Ronald Regan to impress the actress.
Great original historical item! This sketch was used by CNN and Washington post to cover the trial news. The artwork is done in pastel on cardboard and artist’s name is Joan Andrew.
