Kendall Kevin Anagal, a 41-year-old man from Chinle, Arizona, has been charged with many charges of sexual offenses against minors, including Aggravated Sexual Abuse of a Child and Abusive Sexual Contact. The alleged crimes took place between October 15, 2013, and October 14, 2015, while the victim was under the age of twelve. Following a jury trial, Anagal was convicted of three counts of Aggravated Sexual Abuse of a Child and one count of Abusive Sexual Contact with a Minor. The jury did not reach a decision on one count. Anagal was sentenced to life in jail for his crimes against the preteen girl, who was assaulted multiple times between the ages of nine and 10. Anagal’s defense team submitted many motions for acquittal or mistrial based on claimed juror misconduct and prosecutorial errors, but the court refused them. Kendall Kevin Anagal, a 41-year-old man from Chinle, Arizona, has been involved in several serious criminal cases. In 2024, he was found guilty of three counts of Aggravated Sexual Abuse and one count of Abusive Sexual Contact of a Child. In February 2024, a federal jury convicted him, and he was sentenced to life in prison. In 2022, he committed second-degree murder by setting a victim’s home on fire, resulting in her death. Anagal pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 22 years in prison. In 2024, he filed a motion regarding the expert testimony of a forensic interviewer.
