This auction is for a letter from Massachusetts/New York convicted double murderer and suspected serial killer Lewis Lent. Between 1983 and 1994, Lewis Lent is believed to have kidnapped, raped, and murder a series of young women, boys, and girls. The eight known victims ranged in age from 10 to 21. Lewis Lent would be arrested in 1994 after a failed kidnapping of a 12-year-old girl. During police interrogation he would confess to two murders and later recant. Ultimately, Lewis Lent would be convicted in relation to that attempted abduction and a single murder. He would be sentenced to life without parole in Massachusetts and 25 to life in New York. Lewis Lent has never revealed the burial locations of any other victims.
ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is seven pages on four legal size sheets of stationery, dated 4/24/2006, and signed, "Lew." In the letter Lent mostly talks about his case.
