This auction is for a painting by condemned California murderer Michael Stephen Combs. On 10/24/1990, Michael Combs, with accomplice Cynthia Purcell, murdered a woman. Michael Combs tricked her into giving him a ride. He strangled her from the back seat. The pair would be arrested a week later in Arizona after getting into an accident with the victim's car. Michael Combs would be sentenced to death on 6/21/1993.
