Letter/envelope set from the paroled double murderer who hung himself while awaiting trial on new charges.
This auction is for a letter from deceased Chicago murderer Patrick Tullis. In 1987, Patrick Tullis murdered two gay men for allegedly asking to have sex with him. He would be convicted in 1989 and sentenced to 60 years imprisonment. He paroled in 2017, having served half of that sentence. Patrick Tullis would find himself in trouble again, this time being arrested on 6/25/2019 for weapons related charges. He was found dead in Cook County Jail, hanging himself on 7/2/2019.
ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is two pages on two sheets, dated 6/3/2006, and is signed, "Patrick." The original mailing envelope is not postmarked but features a red Illinois Department of Corrections stamp.
