Letter/envelope set with fingerprints from the condemned South Carolina Weird Man serial killer.
This auction is for a letter from condemned South Carolina "Weird Man" serial killer Quincy Javon Allen. Starting on 7/7/2002, Quincy Allen decided to go on a systematic shooting spree across North and South Carolina. He would murder four people, often setting them on fire afterwards. Quincy Allen would be arrested 8/14/2002 in Texas. He would be convicted and sentenced to death for his crimes in South Carolina on 2/4/2004. On 12/2/2009, while on death row, Quincy Allen, along with fellow death row inmate Mikal Nathan Mahdi, stabbed a correctional officer in a failed escape attempt. The officer survived despite being stabbed multiple times.
ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is two pages on two sheets, dated 5/25/2006, and is signed, "Q. J. Allen." Here's a real angry one from Allen! And to think all he wanted to do was play chess. Allen has affixed several fingerprints to the letter, making it all the more interesting. He also signed with his real name. The original mailing envelope is postmarked 5/26/2006.
