This auction is for a letter from the Oregon "I-5 Killer" Randall Brent Woodfield. Between 1980 and 1981, Randall Woodfield would rape and murder multiple victims. He would be arrested and convicted of one murder, one attempted murder, and multiple counts of sexual assault and sodomy. Despite Randall Woodfield's low conviction count, he's suspected in the upwards of 40 murders. He's maintained his innocence throughout.

ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is two pages on one sheet and signed, "Randy." Woodfield has included a copy of the prison newspaper, the Walled Street Bulletin, dated 8/28/2003. The original mailing envelope is not postmarked. The letter, newspaper, and envelope all come in a protective magazine sleeve with an acid free board and have been stored flat.
