Letter detailing the crimes of the Colorado serial killer, R.P. White.
This auction is for a letter from Colorado serial killer Richard Paul White. Between 2001 and 2003, Richard Paul White murdered at least six people. Five of his victims were women. Several would be abducted, tortured, and raped repeatedly, before being strangled. Richard White would be arrested 9/9/2003 for shooting a friend. In an effort to escape the death penalty he worked with authorities, helping them locate bodies and close cases. Richard White would be convicted of three murders and three separate sexual assaults, receiving multiple life sentences without parole. In an odd twist, White's father started selling his son's video confession online, in an effort to raise money for his grandchildren. The venture was not well received by the press.
