Christmas card from the condemned California serial killer.
This auction is for a Christmas card from condemned California serial killer Steven David Catlin. Between 1976 and 1984, four of Catlin's wives and family members died rather suddenly, most of which were quickly cremated at Steven Catlin's requests. After suspicion was raised medical tests found traces of poison in several tissue samples retained by the hospital. Steven Catlin would be charged on 12/23/1995 of murder and convicted of three murders in two counties. He would ultimately be sentenced to death on 6/6/1990.
ITEM DESCRIPTION: The Christmas styled greeting card measures roughly 5"×7" when closed and signed, "Steve." The original mailing envelope is postmarked 12/5/2005 with a red SAN QUENTIN STATE PRISON stamp. The card and envelope come inside a protective magazine sleeve with an acid free board and have been stored flat. Message me with any questions you might have. Thanks for having a look-see.
