Description

This is a print of artwork by Gerard John Schaefer depicting a woman who is bound and hanging, a subject of which artist was an enthusiastic and avid fan of. Much like the other prints I received from Schaefer, or ‘The Hangman’ as he is sometimes referred to, I was sent this print sometime in 1995, the very same year Schaefer would be murdered in Florida State Prison in Starke, Florida by a much stronger and younger inmate in the earlier days of December.
