Theodore Robert Bundy very important handwritten 4 pages talking about a third but failed escape attempt from 1984
On original Florida State Prison Stationary like you will rarely see as most Bundy letter are written on lined paper, this letter is 4 pages in length and signed at the end Take care of yourself . Peace , Ted.
On June 7, 1977, Ted Bundy jumped from the second-story window of the Pitkin County Courthouse, seen here in this recent photo, and ran straight for the mountains.
Ted Bundy makes his second daring escape
Ted Bundy was then moved to the Garfield County Jail in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. In his cell was a grate that was not secured. There was also a light fixture that was due to be welded but had not yet been in the time Bundy was behind bars.
In the months he spent at the jail, Bundy began losing weight.

I haven’t found any attempt of escaping in Bundy’s record until this letter. He was on a close watch and his cell inspected on almost daily basis.
In this letter after letting water under the bridge Ted Bundy had another plan of escape but fails to execute it.
It’s a marvellous important piece of history and a must for true crime collectors!
