Letter/envelope set from the Georgia school shooter.
This auction is for a letter from Georgia high school shooter Darrell Ingram. On 3/10/2000, Ingram opened fire at a high school dance, killed two and wounding a third. He fled the scene but was arrested a few hours later. Maintaining his innocence, Darrell Ingram's defense was there was a second shooter and that he was only firing shots in the air. A jury wasn't buying that and they convicted him on multiple counts. On 11/4/2000, Darrell Ingram was sentenced to two life terms plus 35 years.
ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is three pages on three sheets, dated 3/24/2007, and signed, "Darrell." The original mailing envelope is postmarked 3/26/2007.
