Letter/envelope set from the Washington animal sexual abuser.
This auction is for a letter from Washington animal abuser Travis Joy. In 2015, a video surfaced of Travis Joy having sexual intercourse with three dogs and a horse. The video was found by a former roommate after Travis Joy left the residence. The police quickly became involved and Travis Joy was arrested. He plead guilty in 2016 to six counts of first-degree animal cruelty with sexual motivation and one count of harassment related to threatening the former roommate. He was sentenced to five years in prison. Travis Joy's animals were turned over to the Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Services.
ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is six pages on three sheets, dated 9/17/2015, and is signed, "me." In the letter Joy mentions he was raised on, "...300 acres, hunting, and fishing, and being a redneck." He also discussed his affection for younger women, even dating some of his daughters friends. No mention of any pets, except for cattle and horses. The original mailing envelope is postmarked 9/18/2015 with a Spokane County Jail stamp on the reverse. On the envelope Joy has put a series of hearts. The letter and envelope come inside a protective magazine sleeve with an acid free board and have been stored flat.
