Letter/envelope set from the Maryland teen serial killer.
This auction is for a letter from Maryland teen serial killer Carl Richardson. In 1987, a 17-year-old Carl Richardson broke out of a Washington D.C. maximum security juvenile detention center, shooting four people, killing one of them. He would be rearrested but break out yet again, this time killing two people. There doesn't seem to be much information about Carl Richardson's sentence online. Carl Richardson is incarcerated in the Maryland Department of Corrections, unless he's escaped again.
ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive one page, dated 10/26/2006, and signed, "Carl." The original mailing envelope is not postmarked but was stamped by the prison on the reverse. The letter and envelope come inside a protective magazine sleeve with an acid free board and have been stored flat. Message me with any questions you might have. Thanks for having a look-see.
