This auction is for a letter from executed Texas serial killer Troy James Clark (9/2/1967 - 9/26/2018). On 5/1/1998, Troy Clark, with accomplice Tory Gene Bush, kidnapped a former roommate. He locked her in a closet and played video games and sold drugs. Eventually the female victim was taken into the bathroom where she was beaten before being drowned in the bathtub. The couple then put her body into a 55-gallon barrel with cement mix and lime and dumped it. Her body wouldn't be discovered for five months. Troy Clark killed at least one person before and after this crime but was never formally charged. During his trial he told the jury, "I really ain't got no story to tell. It's just I want the death penalty." Troy Clark would be convicted and sentenced to death on 3/30/2000. Tory Bush, who turned on Troy Clark, received 20 years. Troy Clark was executed on 9/26/2018. He was 51.
