Letter/envelope set from the Tennessee Richland High School shooter.
This auction is for a letter from the Tennessee Richland High School shooter James Ellison Rouse. On 11/15/1995, 17-year-old Jamie Rouse shot two teachers in the head, killing one. He also shot and killed another student, while trying to murder another faculty member, before being overpowered by a student and teacher. Jamie Rouse's apparent motive was related to his grades. He was prosecuted as an adult and received a life sentence. Jamie Rouse's friend, Stephen Abbott, who drove him to the school that day with knowledge of the mass shooting plan, was sentenced for 40 years for his involvement.
ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is two pages on two sheets, dated 4/17/2006, and is signed, "Jamie." The original mailing envelope is postmarked 4/20/2006.
