Letter/envelope set from the deceased Alabama serial killer.
This auction is for a letter from deceased Alabama serial killer Raymond Eugene Brown. In 1960, at age 14, Brown got his first kills in, murdering three of his family members with a kitchen knife. Apparently, he wanted to steal money to buy football gear. He received multiple life sentences but would be paroled in 1973. In 1980 he would be arrested for the rape and serve an additional six years in prison. In 1987 he would commit his final two murders, a mother and daughter. Raymond Brown would be sentenced to death and died in custody awaiting execution.
ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is one page, dated 9/9/1996, and signed, "Raymond." The original mailing envelope is postmarked 9/10/1996.
