Very little made in the mid 1950’s given in 1954 - John Wayne Gacy reference. Great advertising piece! Amazing condition!
So TASTY! SO TENDER! It’s Finger Licking good!
Very little made in the mid 1950’s given in 1954 - John Wayne Gacy reference.
These were also given in 1964 but again very few have survived and it’s very uncommon to see these complete and in good condition like this one. Even the main box is intact with great colours and the interior isn’t yellow or tarnished. All matches are there also.
Without the John Gacy reference many matchbook collectors would consider this their holly grail piece once they find it in an awesome condition like this one. Condition is everything in a case like this one. Near impossible to find these in prestige condition.
John Wayne Gacy worked at a Kentucky fried Chiken after his wedding and his in laws owned 3 stores. It has an impact on him as the red and white of the advertising were used for his POGO the Clown suit. He also chose KFC as his final meal before being executed.
This vintage matches barrels and box were given during this same time Gacy was working at the KFC chain stores.
