Letter/envelope set, with Xerox photo, from the Washington serial killer.
This auction is for a letter from Washington serial killer Gary Gene Grant. Between 12/15/1969 and 4/28/1971, Gary Grant murdered four young people (raping at least one of them), including a pair of 6-year-old boys who had been playing together. The Renton Police Department thought they were making headway when they arrested John Chance, who confessed to the murders, to being the son of the planet Saturn, and having just recently met Jesus Christ. Gary Grant would be arrested as well. His 4/30/1971 confession was apparently more believable than John Chance's. Gary Grant was subsequently convicted and received multiple life sentences.
ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is one page, dated 12/16/2006, and is signed, "Gary." With the letter Grant has added a Xerox photo of himself with his cat, Erma. The original mailing envelope is not postmarked. The letter and envelope come inside a protective magazine sleeve and have been stored flat. Message me with any questions you might have. Thanks for looking.
