Dakota Rain Dodd and Aubrianna Jewelyn Willow Freeman of Oklahoma were charged with five counts of child cruelty after discovering two naked boys in a feces-covered upstairs room. The lads were discovered naked in the room, with feces caked on their fingernails, palms, feet, legs, and faces. The boys were locked up for at least half of the day to allow Freeman to sleep, but only for two hours each day. Dodd acknowledged to locking up the youngsters for two hours every day and told the cops she had to leave. After the children had gone downstairs, Dodd informed the cops that he had planned to give them showers and cover up the feces on the walls with paint. All three children were taken to the hospital for evaluation and placed into the custody of the Department of Human Services. Dodd and Freeman are held on $250,000 bonds apiece. The episode emphasizes the need for better awareness and enforcement of child maltreatment in the home.
I observed two young boys who were entirely naked immediately come out of the room as if they had been standing at the door waiting or trying to get out. The boys were both extremely dirty, covered in faeces on their faces, hands, bodies, legs, and feet.

Young
Boys Found Naked And Locked In A Room Covered In Human Feces
An
Oklahoma couple jailed on child negligence charges had their
apartment so filthy that law enforcement officials struggled not to
vomit when they discovered two young boys, aged three and four,
imprisoned naked in an upstairs room coated in feces.
Dakota
Rain Dodd, 24, and Aubrianna Jewelyn Willow Freeman, 22,
have each been charged with five counts of child maltreatment,
according to Oklahoma County Jail records.
A neighbor
alerted police after seeing the two young boys through a
window.
"I'd go by that window and see those little
boys naked in it; they looked at me as if to say help me," said
Barbara North to KWTV. "They would have dookie all over their
face, hands, and mouth."
On September 12, shortly
before noon, Oklahoma City Police responded to the home, where Dodd
answered the door, according to Law&Crime. The officer noted in
his report that Dodd looked to be sleeping. He initially claimed that
he was the only one at home, but later revealed that the two young
boys were upstairs.
"Dodd again reiterated that the
boys were upstairs and offered to go get them for me," an
officer noted in the father's police report. "I asked if I could
go with him, and he said I could."
"Dodd opened
the door after shaking/moving the doorknob as if it were locked,"
the officer stated in the initial report. "When the door opened,
I was met with a fragrance that turned my stomach and made my eyes
water. I saw two young lads who were completely naked exit the room
as if they had been standing at the door waiting or attempting to
leave."
According to Law & Crime, it was roughly
the extent of the initial report, which was substantially redacted.
However, a records request revealed an unredacted version with
disturbing details:
On the stairs going to the second
story, there were mounds of what appeared to be human feces. As you
walked up the stairs, the smell of feces intensified. At the top of
the stairs was a bedroom. The only furnishings in the room was a
children's plastic slide and a few toys. The floor was covered with
mounds of smeared and flattened human feces. The walls were stained
with dark stuff. Based on the strong odor in the bedroom, the brown
substance was assumed to be feces. The brown substance on the wall
had countless little handprints. The lone window in the room had been
splattered with the same dark stuff. The windowsill was coated in a
thick layer of the same dark stuff. The closet contained a twin-size
bed frame. The frame was standing on its end, with no mattress. The
same brown substance and handprints could be observed on the bed
frame slats.
The boys, the officer noted, "had feces
caked into their fingernail beds, palms of their hands, feet, legs,
and faces" and the "feces was dried and did not appear to
be 'fresh'."
The victims were in a room with feces on
the walls and carpet. Every wall in the bedroom was coated with
feces. The walls appeared to have been painted once and then feces
smeared over the new paint. The window in that bedroom is the same
one through which the original reporting party saw the naked toddler
standing. That window was around 3.5-4 feet from the floor. This
window's glass was similarly stained brown, identical to the walls.
The brown smear marks on this window are evident from the parking
lot. There was no further furniture in the bedroom. The carpeted
floor was likewise covered in excrement. The cops claimed that the
feces looked like human feces. A camera was also put on the wall near
the ceiling in the bedroom's [northeast] corner. A bed frame was
found in this bedroom's closet, leaned against the wall, with no
mattress.
Police said an 11-month-old girl stayed in the
flat but was kept separate from the boys.
According to the
newly revealed investigation, Dodd acknowledged to locking up the
boys for at least half of the day to allow Freeman to sleep.
According to Freeman, they were only locked up for two hours per day,
and she was not at home when police came.
Dodd did, in
fact, contact Freeman while the officer was still downstairs in the
house, and the officer reported hearing her remark, "The fucking
cops are at my door." We have to leave," according to
Law&Crime.
Once the children were downstairs, Dodd
told the cops that he "had intended" to give them showers
and conceal the feces on the walls "with paint."
According
to KWTV, all three children were transferred to the hospital for
evaluation and then placed in the custody of the Department of Human
Services. Dodd and Freeman are detained on $250,000 bonds each.
