After flying A.S. to Michigan under the guise of needing childcare for his niece, she became suspicious upon noticing the lack of children in his home and the presence of surveillance cameras and weapons. Her family contacted law enforcement for a welfare check, which ultimately led to her safe exit from Winfree’s residence.

3. Production of Child Pornography: Winfree was also convicted on two counts related to child pornography involving minors (MV1 and MV2). He coerced these minors into sending him nude images through social media platforms like Instagram and SnapChat. In one case, he picked up a 17-year-old girl from school and engaged in sexual acts with her while recording them.
