This auction is for a Health Services Kite filled out by the Washington "Green River Killer" Gary Leon Ridgway. Between 1982 and 1998, Gary Ridgway murdered at least four women. He would be arrested on 11/30/2001. As part of a plea agreement, Gary Ridgway agreed to take the wrap for 48 unsolved Green River murders. In exchange for his confession, Gary Ridgway would be spared the death penalty. There was enormous pressure on police to solve these cases. There's little doubt that Gary Ridgway was a serial killer and most certainly some of the unsolved murders were perpetrated by his hands, but all 48? On 12/18/2003, Gary Ridgway would be sentenced to 48 life without parole terms.
ITEM DESCRIPTION: The Washington Department of Corrections Health Services Kite measures 8.5"×11", is dated 8/28/2022 and signed, "Gary L Ridgway." Ridgway has also printed his first and last name on the document with is prison number and housing assignment. Handsome to have both his printed name and full signature on the same sheet. The Washington Health Services Kite comes inside a protective magazine sleeve with an acid free board and has been stored flat. Message me with any questions you might have.
