This auction is for a knitted headband from condemned California "Scorecard Killer" Randy Steven Kraft. Between 1972 to 1983, Kraft is believed to have killed dozens of young men and boys in California, Oregon, and Michigan. He was arrested on 5/14/1983 while driving intoxicated with the body of a recently murdered 25-year-old Marine. A further search would find a sheet of coded messages believed to be connected with each murder. Kraft's moniker was derived from this list. While Kraft would be found guilty on 3/12/1989 of 16 murders, authorities believe he's responsible for 67. He was sentenced to death.
