Sullivan Correctional Facility signed Arthur J. Shawcross
This piece was Inspired by Weary Larry a clown painting done in 1983 by John Wayne Gacy, also dubbed the clown killer.
This piece is very colourful and fun to look at with a nice orange background. It gives justice to the painting and even the title of this painting was written with the same caption style.
Arthur Shawcross' parents dispute his claims that he was molested as a child, but it's clear that he was troubled. In 1972, he confessed to killing two children and went to prison. His records were sealed so he could settle in a new town without causing a panic. But from 1988 to 1990, Shawcross killed 11 women in upstate New York, earning the nickname "The Genesee River Killer." He died in prison in 2008.
*All paintings will be sent Unframed to avoid glass breakage during transport and damage to the painting.
