This auction is for a letter from convicted Nevada murderer Jodi Ann Arias. On 6/4/2008, Jodi Arias stabbed her boyfriend multiple times before shooting him in the head. She would be arrested on 7/8/2008 and subsequently convicted on 5/7/2013. Jodi Arias would be sentenced to life imprisonment without parole. The case was largely celebrated in the press due to Jodi Arias being absolutely gorgeous and the violent nature of the crime.

ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is on a small sheet of cut stationery and signed, "Jodi Arias." Arias wrote the letter during her sentencing retrial. The original mailing envelope is postmarked 5/17/2014. The letter and envelope come inside a protective magazine sleeve with an acid free board and have been stored flat.
