Letter/envelope set from the condemned Louisiana serial killer.
This auction is for a letter from condemned Louisiana serial killer Daniel Joseph Blank. Between 1996 and 1997, Daniel Blank murdered six men and women. Robbery was the primary motive. Some victims were beaten with a baseball bat while others were stabbed. When Daniel Blank was arrested, he confessed to each murder and two attempted murders during a 12-hour videotaped police interrogation. Daniel Blank would receive multiple death and life sentences. He was issued an execution date for 3/14/2016, but was granted a stay due an appeal on the grounds of factual innocence and the state not having the drugs required to carry out an execution.
