This auction is for a letter from condemned Nebraska murderer John Lawrence Lotter. On 12/31/1993, John Lotter, with accomplice Marvin Nissen, murdered three people. One of the victims was a transgender man, who the pair had raped several days earlier. Both men would be arrested and Marvin Nissen agreed to testify against John Lotter in exchange for a life sentence. John Lotter would be sentenced to death on 2/21/1996. The case was eventually made into the Hollywood movie Boys Don't Cry.
ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is one page, dated 4/9/2012, and is completely typed. The original mailing envelope is postmarked 4/10/2012.
