Description

This auction is for a letter from California "Trash Bag Killer" Patrick Wayne Kearney. Between 1962 and 1977, Kearney murdered at least 21 young men and boys in southern California. He would kill his victims and then have sex with their lifeless bodies. Eventually Kearney was linked to a murder victim and would ultimately be arrested and charged. He plead guilty to escape the death penalty and was sentenced to multiple life terms. Kearney is believed to have additional victims.

ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is two pages on one sheet, dated 5/22/2002, and is signed, "Pat." The original mailing envelope is postmarked 5/23/2002.
