This auction is for a drawing by deceased child murderer John Evander Couey (9/19/1958 - 9/30/2009). On 2/24/2005, John Couey abducted a nine-year-old girl who he would rape her repeatedly over a series of days before burying her alive. The case received national media coverage. The young victim's body was found on John Couey's property 3/18/2005. On 3/7/2007, he would be found guilty and subsequently sentenced to death on 8/24/2007. John Couey died of natural causes on 9/30/2009. He was 61.
