Description
This auction is for a letter from suspected Ohio serial killer David Lance Bruce. In 2005, authorities say David Bruce raped and murdered three women, with a fourth escaping in 2004. David Bruce was arrested and tried for capital murder. The jury didn't agree with the prosecution theory, finding David Bruce guilty of a single murder. He would attempt suicide shortly after the verdict. David Bruce was sentenced to life imprisonment.
ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive three pages on three sheets and signed, "Bruce." The letter was written while Bruce was awaiting trial. The original mailing envelope is postmarked 4/29/2006.
