Letter/envelope set from the Florida Vampire Clan murder accomplice.
This auction is for a letter from Vampire Clan accomplice Dana Lynn Cooper. Dana Cooper was part of group of teenagers from Kentucky who called themselves the Vampire Clan. On 11/25/1996, while the group was on a road trip, ringleader Rodrick "Rod" Ferrell, and accomplice Howard Anderson, murdered a couple in Florida. The entire group ended up getting arrested and charged. Rodrick Ferrell was sentenced to death, later reduced to life. Howard Anderson was sentenced to life. Despite little-to-no knowledge or participation in the actual murders travel companions Charity Keesee received 10 years, Cooper received 17.5 years. Both women have since parole.
ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is two pages on one sheet, dated 2/20/2011, and signed, "Dana." The original mailing envelope is postmarked 2/23/2011.
