Letter/envelope set from the Florida Killing Cousins serial killer.
This auction is for a letter from Florida serial killer Frederick Levin Waterfield. In the 1980s, Fredrick Waterfield, along with cousin accomplice David Gore, committed a string of sexual assaults and murders. The pair had been accused of sexual assault prior to any killing. Their first murder was of a mother and daughter together. David Gore was an auxiliary sheriff's deputy, giving him an advantage with the law on his side. In the end David Gore was convicted of six counts of murder, Fredrick Waterfield of two. The pair became known as the Killing Cousins. David Gore was sentenced to death and executed on 4/12/2012. Fredrick Waterfield received life.
ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is two pages on one sheet, dated 10/27/1997, and type signed, "Fred." The original mailing envelope is postmarked 10/28/1997.
