Envelope from the executed Texas racially motivated killer.
This auction is for an envelope from executed Texas murderer Lee Andrew Taylor (1/08/1979 – 6/16/2011). While serving a life sentence for a 1996 aggravated robbery which resulted in one fatality, Lee Taylor stabbed another offender to death. The murder, which took place on 4/1/1999, was said to be racially motivated. The victim being African American and Taylor being a member a white supremacist prison gang supported that claim. It also appeared Lee Taylor was the aggressor, stabbing his victim multiple times. Lee Taylor claimed the murder was in self-defense. But a jury wasn't convinced, and he was sentenced to death. Lee Taylor was executed on 6/16/2011. When asked if he had any last words he stated, “I hope you don’t find satisfaction in this, watching a human being die.” He was 32.
