Colosimo's Cafe was opened by "Big Jim" Colosimo in 1910. Colosimo was the head of the Chicago Mob until he was gunned down at his Cafe in 1920. Afterwards Johnny Torrio and Al Capone took over. Big Jim Colosimo was a mentor to Al Capone. Capone spent a lot of time at Colosimo's Cafe.
