Description

This auction is for a letter from Virginia serial killer Montie Ralph Rissell. Between 1976 and 1977, Montie Rissell raped at least 17 women, killing five. Montie Rissell would beat, stab, and drown his victims. He would be arrested 5/18/1977 at the age of 18. Montie Rissell would plead guilty to five murders and receive multiple five sentences on 10/11/1977. He has been eligible for parole since 1995, but due to the vicious nature of the crimes, Rissell has been denied each time. Montie Rissell was portrayed in the Netflex series Mindhunter.

ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is four pages on two sheets, dated 5/26/2006, and signed twice, "Montie." The original mailing envelope is postmarked 5/30/2006.
