Letter/envelope set from the deceased former Panama dictator and cocaine distributor.
The auction is for an envelope from deceased former Panama dictator and cocaine distributor Manuel Antonio Noriega Moreno (2/11/1934 - 5/29/2017). Manuel Noriega was a CIA informant, but his use quickly dried up and his was indicted on racketeering, narcotics, and money laundering charges in 1988. He would be arrested during the 1989 invasion of Panama. Manuel Noriega would be convicted in 1992 and sentenced to 40 years imprisonment. Upon completion of his sentence he would be extradited from the United States to France to receive a second term of imprisonment. Manuel Noriega died of natural causes on 5/29/2017. He was 83.
ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is one page, dated 3/26/1996, and singed, "Manuel Noriega," The original mailing envelope is postmarked 3/29/1996.
