This auction is for a letter from executed Ohio cult leader and mass murderer Jeffery Don Lundgren (5/3/1950 - 10/24/2006). On 4/17/1989, prophet Jeffery Lundgren killed five fellow cult members, a family with three young children between the ages of six and 15. He initially fled after the murders. Jeffery Lundgren, along with 13 others, would be arrested in late 1990. They would all face charges for their respective roles in the murders. Jeffery Lundgren was sentenced to death. In a last-ditch effort, Jeffery Lundgren filed a lawsuit citing his obesity would make his execution by lethal injection constitute cruel and unusual punishment, which failed. Jeffery Lundgren was executed on 10/24/2006. He was 56.
