California Department of Corrections Inmate Privilege Card, no longer issued.
This auction is for a California Department of Corrections inmate Privilege Card. This card was commonly known as a "red card." Inmates in possession of this card would have to display it when going to the main yard of their facility, receive quarterly packages, and other inmate related privileges, hence the title. If you received disciplinary action and lost these privileges, prison officials would simply take this card away from you until the duration of the sanctions were completed. The California Department of Corrections no longer issue or use these cards.
ITEM DESCRIPTION: This card was issued to a California inmate who was incarcerated for an undisclosed felony offense. The gentleman's personal information has been obscured for privacy. The card measures just under 2.75"×4". Message me with any questions you might have. Thanks for looking.
