This auction is for a letter from Texas child murderer John Rubio. On 3/11/2003, John Rubio, with accomplice and common law wife Angela Camacho, murdered their three children. The two believed the children were possessed by "evil spirits" and had to be killed. John Rubio admitted to manually ripping one of their heads off with his bare hands. The pair would be arrested shortly thereafter. Angela Camacho received a life sentence for her role in the crimes, with John Rubio being sentenced to death.

ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is one page, dated 7/30/2008, and is signed, "John." Lots of little doodles and the like throughout. This letter was sent from the Cameron County Detention Facility. The original mailing envelope is postmarked 7/30/2008. The letter and envelope come inside a protective magazine sleeve with an acid free board and have been stored flat.
