This auction is for a letter from convicted murderer suspected Louisiana serial killer Russell Ellwood. From 1991 to 1997, Russell Ellwood would murder up to 26 women while driving a taxi in New Orleans. He would rape and strangle his victims, most of which were prostitutes. Russell Ellwood would be arrested on 3/2/1998 and charged with two murders, one of which would be dropped. Russell Ellwood would be convicted and sentenced to life. It's believed that Russell Ellwood once called into the Howard Stern Show and confessed to 12 murders on the air.
ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is one page, dated 4/26/2006, and is signed, "Russell." The original mailing envelope is postmarked 4/27/2006.
