This auction is for a letter from condemned California rapist and murderer Rex Allan Krebs. Between 1998 and 1999, Rex Krebs abducted, tortured, raped, and murdered two young women. He had a history of sexual violence. Police eventually zeroed in on Rex Krebs, finding the two young women buried in the canyon near his residence in San Lois Obispo. Rex Krebs would be convicted and sentenced to death on 5/11/2001.

ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is two pages on one sheet, dated 10/22/2007, and signed, "Rex." In the letter Krebs describes killing a goose at a local part to feed a hungry family, "But the point remains. Children have to be fed." He also discusses several movies he's recently seen and won't see, "We won't get to see the new Halloween movie. We don't get to see anything that is rated R or worse. I guess they think we might get ideas or something?" The original mailing envelope is postmarked 10/23/2007.
