Description

This auction is for a letter from condemned California serial killer Kevin Bernard Haley. Between 1983 and 1984, Haley, with his accomplice and brother Reginald Haley, went on a murderous crime spree that left potentially eight victims dead in its wake. The pair committed multiple rapes and burglaries in home invasion styled crimes. After their arrest in 1984 the pair made statements, implicating themselves in various crimes. Reginald Haley was convicted of robbery, kidnapping, rape, and sodomy. He was sentenced to life imprisonment in 1987. Kevin Haley received two trails, with two murderers being the most serious convictions. He was sentenced to death twice, once in 1988 and once in 2014.

ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is eight pages on four sheets, dated 9/29/1997, and signed, "Kevin." The original mailing envelope is postmarked 10/1/1997.
