Letter/envelope set from the condemned California Clairemont Killer.
This auction is for a letter from the condemned California "Clairemont Killer" Cleophus Prince, Jr. In 1990, Cleophus Prince would rape and murder six women in San Diego. He would be arrested on 3/3/1991 in Alabama and extradited back to California. Cheolphus Prince would be found guilty of the six murders on 7/15/1993 and sentenced to death on 11/5/1993.
ITEM DESCRIPTION: The missive is three pages on two sheets, dated 11/28/2004, and is signed, "Prince." There is a third page with a poem of sorts about friendship. The original mailing envelope is postmarked 11/29/2004. The letter and envelope come inside a protective magazine sleeve with an acid free board and have been stored flat.
