Valentine’s Day wishes - in part No. 126-1 signed 3 times
Executed - William George Bonin original pastel painting. This is probably in the last if not the last artwork because of the date being so close to his execution . I’ve never seen artwork by him dated after the 12-25-95.
This great piece done 2 month before being executed was sent on his very last Christmas of 1995. Titled on the back: “Valentines Day Wishes In Part” no. 126-1
It’s signed on the back your loving friend Bill Bonin and William G . Bonin. The front is signed Bill Bonin and is numbered also 126-1.
His execution was scheduled for February 23 1996 Less then two months after creating this one. This is a final goodbye.
I personally haven’t seen another one dated after this piece. Even if he was executed by lethal injection the light bulb logo depiction in the center of this piece represents electricity and execution by the electric chair, you also have his final Valentine’s Day and Christmas wish and gift and his final ruling of the court hammered that he should be executed. Lots of brings Colors to it.
Recently received the cut Manila envelope it was mailed in with Bonin’s signature and a handwritten letter date December 25 , 1995 that the collector who initially received the artwork found and I’ve purshased it with the Manila envelope from him to keep with this final artwork piece!
The letter is handwritten and is signed above the date Bill Bonin and also signed Bill at the end.
This collection all together has 6 signatures and backs the artwork for life. It’s highly possible to be his final piece of art before being executed.
